I know your probably already know, and you don't need to post this, but because it is 1970's, it is going to be neo-(Time Period). And I think that your first submission for the answer is correct. The Rococo style occurred in the late part of the baroque about the 18th century. We can assume it is rococo based on the non-symmetric sides of the scarf. The Renaissance and the early Baroque periods where all about symmetry and ornamentation and when the rococo style came about, it kept the intricacy and changed the symmetry. (Same thing with architecture of the time.)
